Laura Barron is President of The Barron Group, a Tennessee-based consulting firm founded in 1994. The firm specializes in helping companies implement change, develop their leaders and employees and increase customer loyalty. She works with companies who want to improve their employee productivity and build stronger customer relationships and with managers who want their employees to solve problems and be accountable.
Ms. Barron has held key managerial positions in one of the country's largest utilities, including customer service, training and development, project management, travel services and commercial interior design. Clients find her high energy and "real world" approach both engaging and immediately usable by their managers and employees.
Her 25 plus years of business experience enables her to apply first-hand knowledge and skills in meeting her client's needs. Her effectiveness stems from her belief in people as well as from her customization to meet each client's specific needs.
Ms. Barron has a B.S. and M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee. She is a professional member of the National Speakers Association and a past board member of the Tennessee Speakers Association. She was selected as a National Business Woman of the Year by the American Business Women's Association. She also serves as a board officer for the Girl Scouts of Tanasi Council.
