Kristen "K." Broussard is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Bliss Magazine, an online magazine for women of color which fuses the before and after of a wedding. In this position, Kristen oversees the editorial content which guides readers through everything from pre-wedding planning tips and relationship issues to the journey of marriage and parenthood. With satellite offices in Los Angeles , Atlanta , Chicago , D.C. , and New York , Bliss is the first of its kind to provide practical information about the planning of a wedding as well as the constantly evolving institution of marriage.

Kristen is also the author of What Looks Like Black, a compelling and thought-provoking novel that delves into the discussions of arcane and painful reality of intra-racial relations among African Americans.

Kristen received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Clark Atlanta University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Columbia College Chicago. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

A native of Chicago, Kristen is married to Jay Broussard, publisher of Bliss Magazine.
