Gary Markle literally wrote the book on Catalytic Coaching. His work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, and the Detroit Free Press. He is a highly-rated keynote speaker for industry and trade associations and an award-winning speaking resource for Vistage. Over the last two decades, Gary has presented to more than 800 CEO and key executive groups across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Asia. He's also a returning guest lecturer at Texas A&M.

Gary is a past founder and award-winning chair of a Vistage CEO think tank in Atlanta and a former TEC Canada "Speaker of the Year." He started his career as an HR generalist for prominent companies, including Exxon, Shell and Phelps Dodge. He holds a bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and a master's degree in the same discipline from Purdue University. Gary earned Senior Executive Human Resources certification from the University of Michigan Graduate School of Business.

Gary currently functions as CEO of Catalytic Coaching, Inc. He was the founder of Energage, Inc. and became SVP/Partner for Workplace Dynamics when it absorbed his former company. Gary was part of the executive team at Workplace Dynamics when they adopted the acquired company's name (Energage, LLC). Gary remains an investor and business partner at Energage.
